Deploying Capstone technology, Pure World Energy (PWE) can configure bespoke generation schemes for a variety of electricity and heat loads such as Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW), process steam, or cooling requirements, by passing the heat through absorption chillers.

Capstone microturbines produce a large volume of clean and oxygen-rich exhaust, which is recovered by a heat recovery steam generator. The heat recovery steam generator includes an internal exhaust bypass damper and optional duct burner to produce and modulate high-pressure steam while maintaining ultra-low emissions and high fuel efficiencies.
System efficiency can be further boosted by utilising the excess heat, captured via a heat exchanger, to generate additional hot water for other local processes.
A unique solution from PWE & SAACKE
Pure World Energy, in partnership with SAACKE Combustion Services Limited, can provide a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) solution without the need for a waste heat boiler.
Traditionally, a waste heat boiler is required to duct the exhaust heat that is produced by the CHP to the facility in the form of thermal energy. The PWE / SAACKE solution involves the retro-fitting of a specially engineered SAACKE burner to the existing steam boiler. The Capstone CHP microturbine exhaust heat is ducted directly into the SAACKE burner, pre-heating the combustion air, which delivers thermal energy to the facility.
This is a unique but proven solution that not only provides significant energy savings to an organisation, but also mitigates against the financial, operational and space constraints of alternative solutions.
